Regular monthly valuation mornings at the offices of Abbot & Frost, Burnham on Sea See press for details of any "Specialist" advisory days at these venues Advice For Vendors The charge for selling lots at auction is 15% (+ VAT at the standard rate) All lots are insured while awaiting sale on the premises, for which a charge of 1% (+ VAT at the standard rate) of the hammer price is charged. Cheques and detailed statements are sent out to vendors 7 days after the sale date. Advice for Purchasers All purchases are subject to a 15% (+ VAT at the standard rate) Buyers Premium on the hammer price. Payment: Debit cards, Credit cards (a charge of 3% + VAT will be added to credit card payments), Cheques (large amounts will need to be cleared before goods can be removed from the saleroom), Cash up to £10,000. Postage & Packing Tamlyns will endeavour to pack and post small, non-fragile items via Royal Mail Special Delivery (maximum insurance value £2,500). However, for larger and more delicate lots, we use Mailboxes of Taunton who offer an efficient service at reasonable cost. Mailboxes contact number is 01823 322263. Collection & Storage Buyers please note that lots must be paid for and cleared from the auction rooms by 3 days after the sale date.
